The proceeds from the sale of this endearing brass cow finance a deep well for urban sustainable farming in Burkina Faso. This well will allow farmers in one of the poorest countries in Africa to become autosufficient in food production with year round access to water. When we have sold 100 cows we will have enough to drill!

THE ARTIST
When we moved into our neighborhood in Bobo, we asked around as to where we could buy cold bissap (a sweet hibiscus tea) We were led to the courtyard across the street where a lady makes bissap daily. There, in the shade of the ornate and crumbling entrance our neighbor, the bronze sculptor was putting the final touches on this cow and for us it was love at first sight!
